Man Dies After Pirating Pastor Adeboye’s Book

A man who smartly left for China to pirate Pastor Adeboye’s and Nigeria’s bestselling devotional, Open Heavens, met his death moments after he reached Nigeria.

The deceased, whose name is withheld, was said to have grabbed a few copies of the Open Heavens devotional, duplicated lots of copies and returned to Nigeria, intent to sell at the rate of N1000 — as
against the original N750-N800 price.

The end will always come for the wicked.

The middle-aged man, having just arrived the country, and was on his way to his house, slumped on alighting from his vehicle. He died instantly.

Few weeks after the instigator’s death, the sales officer and others involved brought the books to Redemption Camp to sell in order to make up for the money they’d incurred on the devotional’s piracy.

Last weekend, the Redemption Camp Security Officers nabbed the deceased’s Sales Officer, and he has since been in police custody right there on the RCCG camp ground.

The lorry driver who had come to offload the pirated books escaped on foot, leaving the loads of pirated books behind.

Finally, an end has come to them all. A horrible end to the instigator. This proves beyond doubt that, well, the wicked may thrive for so long, nemesis will always catch up with him.

And as for piracy, let’s hope this new plague spreads!
